The missing bunny!

I'm sorry if this picture is disturbing that's what happens when you let a man pick the picture.
(Thanks Ladies.....Brenton)
Really read on this story is funny, I promise you will laugh. So I called my grandmother today and she had this story to share with me it go something like this. An older lady my grandma knows let's call her (Jane) for privacy reason you'll understand later. Watches dogs from time to time and was dog sitting. The dogs came home with a dead rabbit. She knew it came from next door so she brought the dead rabbit in and washed it up.Then She in the night took the rabbit back and put it in the bunny cage. (looking like it died in the night). The next day she was talking to the lady acting all nonchalant like and the lady said she didn't know why or how the rabbit got back in the cage, she had buried it in the back yard. I guess you never know!

Thankful Thursday!

Today I'm Thankful for the Phone. I love the fact that I can call people. I'm thankful to call my grandmother everyday. I know she looks forward to my calls and it nice to hear her voice. It's also nice to be able to check on those that are sick and those who live out of state and to stay in touch with family and friends.

I'm also Thankful for my Husband. I'm grateful for all that he does for me and our children. He is a hard worker and does not complain. He teaches me so much. He also helps me to be a better person.

I guess I would have to say I'm Thankful for Change. Now before you read more on that I will say, I don't do well with change. In fact it can be hard for me but I do know that change is a good thing and with it we grow. So here's to change may we all look for the good in it.

I'm also Thankful for the Older ladies at the Atrium. Some of you may not know what I'm talking about. They are some of the most wonderful ladies I have ever met. They live by us and I along with others I have had the chance to sever them, as well as get to know them. I have been able to help with giving them a luncheon once a month. I have loved the stories they tell and the sweet smiles. And don't forget the music our dear friend Jo plays for us. I'm sad to say with some changes that took place we no longer will be doing this. But we can always remember Jello right MJ?

Picture Tag.

This is a picture of my sweet Elsie a few summers ago. I was pregnant with my third child and didn't feel good. My kids spent a lot of the summer out on the porch while I laid on the couch. You can see they played with chalk, bubbles and we planted some flowers and veggies. We got full sun in the afternoon so they did not grow that well. I will say they had fun and I could keep I good watch on the kids.

This was a picture tag. so if you read this give it a try. I have to say I didn't have a fourth folder but it's the fourth picture that came up. Thanks for the tag MJ.

Time to let go.

Hello my friends!
So today I write on letting go. Page has now hit one year and it is time to stop nursing. I have complained now for months on wanting to be done and now that I can I find many reason not to. I have given her bottles and cups with milk but it's just a toy to her. I have created the mess I'm in. She does not a take nap with out me holding her, same with going to bed. She only likes daddy to play with but If I leave the room she screams. I have not been apart from her since she came into our lives. You see I have a hard time with letting go. It's been that way with all my children. Everyone tells me it will take three days and will be done with the nursing thing. So why don't I just do it? She has been harder in that she will not take a pacifier or special blanket. It's mom and only mom. Well, thank you for listening to me. I know you all have been there. I guess it's time Page grows up a little. I love you Page!

Young Love!

Young Love?
So tell me "When did our children grow up?" My first grader came home tonight with a love note for one of his eight girlfriends. She gave him her phone number, address and so on. I don't know about you but I thought we would have a few years before I heard " Mom can I give a girl my phone number?"I responded with no way! I'm not about to have kids on the phone for hours.

Happy Birthday My little one!

It hard to believe that my baby is not a baby anymore. I tell you one year goes by so fast. My little one is a ray of sunshine in our home. She is a happy little girl. She loves to make people around her smile. The red hair is a treat, we still find it crazy that we ended up with a red head. She has been so much fun. She can really keep up with her brother and sister. I don't know why but the more children you have the faster they seem to grow up. I guess it's due to the fact that they have siblings to keep up with. We are so blessed to have three wonderful children. Happy Birthday Munkers! We love you!

A Trip Down Memory Lane!

It has been suggested I should take a trip down memory lane and share with you a little bit about my life. Just before I start I bet y'all did not know I'm a little bit redneck. I grew up in a small town. We lived in a trailer and for the first few months we had no power. I remember taking showers at the state park. We would have our power go out weekly. I remember my parents cooking on kerosene heaters and flushing the toilet with swimming pool water where our pet trout named Bob lived and I might add he loved to eat cheerios. The local Wal-Mart was the coolest store ever.
But the things I miss are picking wild flowers, seeing deer and the smell of fresh cut Christmas trees. Also playing at the state park, The smell of salt water. Climbing trees, playing Hide n go seek in the dark woods at night. A big family past time. We also had a big metal shop where my Dad and his band would have party's, live music and kiddie swimming pools filled with fresh crab. And don't forget the Geoduck. If you don't know what it is, look it up.....it tastes so good. Oh, I could go on and on about our little logger town and some of our redneck ways but I geuss you will just have to ask.
We all come from so many places and it funny the paths we end up on and the new ones ahead. But it nice to know we take a small piece with us everywhere we go. So here's to new memorys!
