Today I had the joy of arranging flowers. For those who don't know I went to school for floral arranging. I don''t get to do it much now but one day I hope to have a big flower garden. I've lost so much of what I had learned. These flowers were so beautiful. I had to share the photo.

Pasta Night!
For sometime now I've thought I should share some of my recipes. This one I came up with when I cleaned out the fridge.
Spinach ( a bunch)
Onion (used half an onion)
Celery (2 sticks)
Mushrooms ( used 6 good sized ones)
Garlic (6 or so cloves)
Fresh Parsley ( like two tablespoons)
One can of diced tomatoes ( we like the sweet onion and garlic)
About 4oz. of Italian cheese ( we used Provolone)
1 half pint whipping cream
Chicken ( I used 2 chicken breast and cut them into tenders.)
Pasta
Salt and pepper
Note: you can use as much or little on the vegetable and herbs.
Put some oil in frying pan (I use olive oil) and cook the chicken, add a little salt and pepper. Chopped the spinach, celery, mushroom, parsley and dice the garlic and onion. Add all this and let it cook down. I added a little of the juice from the diced tomatoes and let it cook off. Add your tomatoes, you may want to drain a little of the juice and whipping cream and cheese and let it keep cooking. Remember to keep string your sauce. The sauce will get thicker the longer it cooks. Cook your pasta, pour your sauce over the pasta and enjoy!
We loved this and hope you will give it a try. Sorry, no picture of it done. If any question or if the recipe is not clear give me a call, I would be happy to help. Happy cooking!

Ladies Night!
Last night I got together with two of my really good friends for girls night. This was the first time in over a year that I was alone without any kids. I was not sure of this idea at first. My husband said I'll take all the kids and go see my parents. So 6pm came around and my friends came and my family left. Soon we did too, to get some dinner. I kinda forgot about leaving my little one. We came back to my house and had dinner and watched a movie. It was really fun but when they came home, my baby was asleep. The kids were great and everyone had fun. My little one didn't even cry and was so good for daddy. I will be honest I felt a little like I was not needed but with a nice talk with my husband. I soon was able to look at it in a new way. So Ladies let me know when you all want to get toghter. I geuss it's now time to let go a little and find some time for me now and again. Maybe next time I'll send them out so I can have a good nap! Sleep what is that?

The missing bunny!

I'm sorry if this picture is disturbing that's what happens when you let a man pick the picture.
(Thanks Ladies.....Brenton)
Really read on this story is funny, I promise you will laugh. So I called my grandmother today and she had this story to share with me it go something like this. An older lady my grandma knows let's call her (Jane) for privacy reason you'll understand later. Watches dogs from time to time and was dog sitting. The dogs came home with a dead rabbit. She knew it came from next door so she brought the dead rabbit in and washed it up.Then She in the night took the rabbit back and put it in the bunny cage. (looking like it died in the night). The next day she was talking to the lady acting all nonchalant like and the lady said she didn't know why or how the rabbit got back in the cage, she had buried it in the back yard. I guess you never know!

Thankful Thursday!
Today I'm Thankful for the Phone. I love the fact that I can call people. I'm thankful to call my grandmother everyday. I know she looks forward to my calls and it nice to hear her voice. It's also nice to be able to check on those that are sick and those who live out of state and to stay in touch with family and friends.
I'm also Thankful for my Husband. I'm grateful for all that he does for me and our children. He is a hard worker and does not complain. He teaches me so much. He also helps me to be a better person.
I guess I would have to say I'm Thankful for Change. Now before you read more on that I will say, I don't do well with change. In fact it can be hard for me but I do know that change is a good thing and with it we grow. So here's to change may we all look for the good in it.
I'm also Thankful for the Older ladies at the Atrium. Some of you may not know what I'm talking about. They are some of the most wonderful ladies I have ever met. They live by us and I along with others I have had the chance to sever them, as well as get to know them. I have been able to help with giving them a luncheon once a month. I have loved the stories they tell and the sweet smiles. And don't forget the music our dear friend Jo plays for us. I'm sad to say with some changes that took place we no longer will be doing this. But we can always remember Jello right MJ?
